
Dr. Guruprasad Bhat has completed his schooling and early graduation from St. Aloysius school and Canara College in Mangalore. The passion in him for medicine made him take up M.B.B.S which he completed from KMC, Mangalore. He then finished his M.D in Medicine from Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur. He was always interested in the field of Cancer which made him pursue further studies in D.M Medical Oncology. He got through D.M entrance exams for Medical oncology in Kidwai in his very first attempt and has completed his course in August, 2014. He is currently the Head of the department and chief medical oncologist of Yenepoya Medical College. He worked as Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology Department of KMC, Mangalore. He has his own clinic in Ashwini polyclinic, Kodialbail and does weekly visits to various places around Mangalore like Puttur, Kasargod, Kazhangad and Payyanur. He is also visiting Medical Oncologist at various Hospitals in Mangalore.
